Critique of belief
The steadfast nature of thought spins delicately towards emotional polarities. If we believe in what we say and how our thoughts line up through merging of similarities, we can use this as enlightenment especially if we can convince.
The research we partake in centers around the symbolism that threads outwards encapsulating our thoughts. If we can’t comprehend or if an opposing belief is too similar or too extreme from our stance we shift.
We blame and disenfranchise contrarian beliefs. We seek solace in being right.
The power struggle continues especially if you will not waver. We struggle to find the cue, that a thought is just an explanation. Not rational nor logic but a systematic mechanism to evade or partake.
The firmament is our collection of people all relative to our past. We have been assembled through heritage and beliefs have been cast on us. As a mirror we take light and reflect it towards anyone who dares to gaze into it. With the inclusion of identity to ourselves, we are offered a choice. To stare and contemplate. To walk away. Or to bask in the joy of our inner self.
But we choose our own path. Call it rebellion, call it fitting in. Skeptics and cynics have a new home in our open world. People want to believe the controversy as a rank in file system. If I “know” and you don’t then I have the high ground. People will disagree with basic facts to spurn attention to themselves.
I believe there is a root to it. It’s passed playing devil’s advocate to spurn opposing thought. Every side has a story. I think it’s much more then morality. For me to own this belief and be right and good is greater than your thought which is wrong and bad.
A lot of it stems from the phenomenon of the internet. A technology we used to have to discover and seek and partake in in an established zone albeit a desk, a computer. Now it is all around us and easy to penetrate. Thoughts used to be own spun through communities and familiar gradation. It’s centric to our livelihood and you put forth to seek your thought. Or you ingrained yourself.
It’s easy to hold onto extreme denominations of symbolism when your communal group thought was your neighbors. With the reality of choice, one’s adventure to explore outside is unneeded. Our necessities can be on our front door and our sociable communication skills can be entirely surrounded by own choosing. Gone are the days of niche online communities when certain platforms hold the super majority of the stake. And which is done by our choice.
Our persona can be ultimately private. The people to let in and let go is at our whim. Conversation crossing the picket line is known as attacks and is used in a way to segregate victims. Most do not inherently change our beliefs haphazardly through a minority perspective as we perceive it. We perceive it this way because we have created the echo chamber.
So, our belief is supported through community efforts we perpetuated. A side is larger when we know the participants. Is it age that holds onto flailing ideals? Aren’t budding beliefs passed down to blossom? History is the causality of the past. So, a belief is never ideologically in the present. We are just the harbingers of it. A belief can become actuality only when that symbol and its participants suppress denominations and adjacent thoughts. There is hardly ever one path to totality.
Thoughts can ween on good nature and our well being but can turn to malicious intent. A thought transcends time because we are never thoroughly intent living marginally. We believe existence will be full if we shared no differences. Differences that are unexplainable to you who has only lived once are an antithesis to your beliefs.
Group thought leads to structural hierarchy. If we are at the center of our hierarchy then people are above us, below us and adjacent. Power dynamics play a role that circumvents are necessities and puts our thoughts on symbolism above all. We scribe it into our nature, we make the idea into who we are even when we cannot prescribe morality into physicality.
We can describe morals into teachings and spread our doctrine outwards flooding the waves of present politics. But beliefs have always skewed our politics and most importantly our movement throughout the world. All of the sanctions of land runs rather similarly. The bonds run thicker when these nation states have similar minded populace. The goal has a through line in all of them.
Our beliefs behoove are concept of authority. We view each other as individuals within a group. The lone human is whittled into the shape that they regale towards. Their group obtains their collective soul.
